You can work in embassies too.Above all major benefit of being an expert in the language is your ticket to Japan , to either study or work in companies there which is highly rewarding.Do not forget the travel and tourism industry, if you are interested.  suggest you to explore few interesting opportunities there.

It depends on the institue you choose for teaching. Now a days teaching jobs are found to be too demanding and valuable. Everyone is preferring experienced and trusted that is old staff unless there is a vacancy available. So many students who have done Higher graduation, masters are not getting jobs. So your package depends on the State and the demand of the course. Mostly beginners earn 15 to 18k per month.

If the school/college needs to have KANNADA to be their compulsory criteria then you will have to attempt it. Else there is no need to attempt Kannada Language Paper.
