What about placement in our law college

Rupsa Banerjee 4th Jul, 2025

Dear aspirant,

To give you an accurate information about placements, please mention the name of your law college. Placement opportunities always vary widely depending on the college’s reputation, location, and the kind of industry connections it has. For example, top law colleges like NLU Delhi or NLSIU Bangalore usually have very strong placement cells with regular recruitment from top law firms, companies, and even government sectors. But it's true that smaller or newer colleges may not have such structured placement support. So, if you can tell us which law college you're studying in, we will be able to share more specific details about the kind of placements you can expect from your college and how to prepare for them effectively.

Thank you

I am a first year B.A. LLB (H) at amity law school noida, im looking for a migration to VIPS for the same course. Is it possible that through migration i directly enter into 2nd year after completing my first year at amity. If yes what is the process for the same.

gopi 7th Jun, 2025

Hello Gaurika,

Yes, migration can be done from Amity Law School Noida to VIPS (Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies) in the 2nd year of the B.A. LL.B (Hons.) program, subject to availability of seats and concurrence of the two universities  (your current institution and your new institution). The general process is as follows:

  1. Verify eligibility: You should have completed your first year with no backlogs and completed the same subjects/modules as prescribed by VIPS.
  2. Obtain NOC from Amity: After your first year you will need to seek a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Amity Law School.
  3. Follow through at VIPS - you will be required to contact VIPS to request and learn whether or not you will be able to migrate, documentation required, and whether or not there are seats available.
  4. Submission required documents are application for migration, NOC from Amity, marksheet/result of 1st year, syllabus of completed subjects and attendance proof.
  5. University Approval - Due to both colleges being affiliated with GGSIPU or its respective universities, there will also need to be application/approval to/from the concerned university.
  6. Final Admission - if you get to this final step, it means you are granted final admission to the 2nd year provided your subjects are the same as that of VIPS and you have fulfilled their academic standards.

Currently I am in the final year of college give semester exam in May (25) can i fill application form for pg courses in india law institute

Tanisha chaudhary 12th May, 2025

HEY THERE!!

Yes, you can apply for PG (postgraduate) law courses in Indian Law Institutes (like LLM or equivalent programs) when you are in your final year of graduation and sitting for your semester exams in May 2025.

Important Points from Official Instructions:

  • Final semester/year candidates are allowed to apply for law PG entrance tests and courses, if they will complete their graduation prior to the time the admission procedure finishes.
  • Your admission will be provisional until you provide your final graduation mark sheet/certificate during counseling or admission.
  • You need to fulfill the minimum marks requirement (typically 45–50% in graduation, as per the institute and your category) once your results are announced.

What You Should Do:

  • Fill in the PG law entrance exam or course application through the official website of the institute or the concerned entrance exam authority.
  • Mark on the application form that you are in your last year/semester of graduation.
  • Be prepared to send your final mark sheet immediately after your results are announced, to validate your admission.

Summary:

You can apply for PG law courses in India even when you are in your last year of graduation (appearing for May 2025 exams). Just ensure that you complete your degree and provide the necessary documents before final admission is released

I want do law from this college please tell me the process

Samriddha Pal 30th Jun, 2025

Hello,

To obtain a law degree from a college in India, the process varies based on whether you seek a 5-year integrated course (such as BA LLB, BBA LLB) following Class 12 or a 3-year LLB after earning a bachelor's degree. In a 5-year program, you generally must take national or state-level entrance examinations like CLAT (Common Law Admission Test), LSAT India, or specific state exams such as MHT CET Law, AP LAWCET, etc. Depending on your score or ranking, you can seek admission to colleges during counseling sessions. CLAT is crucial for leading national law universities (NLUs).

To pursue the 3-year LLB, you must hold a graduate degree in any field. For most prestigious universities such as DU, BHU, PU, and MH CET 3-year LLB, admission is once more based on entrance exams. Some private colleges may provide direct admission based on merit.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Does arham law college of pune accept AILET as entrance for BA.LL.B 5yrs

Swayam 1st May, 2025

For admission to its five-year BA LLB degree, Arham Law College in Pune does accept AILET results.  But the college also takes into account other admission tests, such as MH CET Law and CLAT.  Verify certain requirements (such as minimum scores and application procedures) directly through the college's official channels, as admissions procedures might differ.
