My exam of prelims UPSC is clashing with the date of LSAT exam. How should I deal with this?
Unfortunate for you because in this scenario you have to make a choice. Both exams are national level and there is no way there will be any change in schedule. Make your choice whether you want to be a civil servant and try prelims or you want to join law school and go for LSAT. LSAT entrance got rescheduled twice so there might be some possibility that it gets rescheduled again. Chances are not that much but still you need to decide and make your mind and put maximum efforts in preparation.

Is LSAT conducted only once in a year ? I planned to take a drop for 2019 and appear in LSAT in december 2019 ,will it be possible?
Hey Rakhi.
If you are taking about LSAT India which is an entrance test for admission in various colleges in India like Jindal Global Law School, UPES Dehradoon etc then it takes place only once in a year in the month of May-June. So you will have to take the test at the same time only even if you drop one year.
But if you are talking about LSAT, the entrance test for admission in Law Schools Abroad then it can be taken multiple times. Like this year it could be taken in March as well as in January. So you will be able to take the exam in January itself after dropping. You will have to check the official site for the exact time you're eligible to appear for it.
Best of luck
Right now I completed my Intermediate 1st year.. I want reserve a seat for the academic year 2020..
Dear Venkat, considering the fact that you will join 12th class this Summer, you will have to take LSAT India for 5 year Integrated course. For this he basic eligibikity criteria is that youbshould have completed your 10+2 from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Because TOEFL and IELTS scores have a validity a certain no. of years, it is only normal yo think LSAT India might have one too. But they are Language proficiency tests and not entrance examinations. So if you want to take up LLB in 2020, you need to appear in 202 as a student appearing for 10+2 exams. You cannot appear for any entrance exam in advancre and freeze your scores for the next Academic year.
Can you appear for LSAT or CLAT exam while youre still studying in school? (In 11th or 12th standard)
Hey Richa.
Law entrance examinations like CLAT and LSAT can't be taken while you are in 11th Class. They can be taken in the same year you appear in the 12th Class. These exams are scheduled every year in the month the May-June. The eligibility criteria for CLAT requires you to score a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in 12th boards to be eligible for admission through CLAT. And You need to pass class 12th to be eligible to take admission through LSAT. So you can take these entrances in the same year you appear for 12th boards and your admission will be provisionally based on you scoring the minimum required marks in 12th. Admissions will be done on the basis of your score and rank in the entrance only.
Best of luck
