UGC now allows candidates to pursue two degree courses simultaneously, however the only condition is that one has to be done through regular mode, and another through distance mode, that is the mode of learning has to be different, as long as you follow this form you can pursue two degree courses at the same time.

Data science is easy in comparison to other branches, if you are getting this branch you should go for it anytime. But it has a issue that some companies does not allow to sit in there placement exams ( rarely ).
