I got admission in govt degree college In bsc life science with diary zoology and chemistry as subjects can u tell me what is the scope of jobs and can we do MSC after that
Hello!
If you have a keen interest in biology(i.e life sciences), then choosing BSc Life Sciences with those subjects as electives is a good decision. There are many job profiles you can opt for.
- Pathologist(A researcher who studies bodies and body tissues and examines the causes and effects of disease or injury, and advises on the appropriate patient care)- Average package would be Rs.10 LPA
- Biochemist (related to problems in the food processing and agricultural industries.)- Average package would be Rs.3.5 LPA
- Scientific/Journal Writer - Average package would Rs.4.05 LPA
- Food scientist/technologist - Average pcakage would be Rs.7.5 LPA
You can go for master's in Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Biology depending on some eligibility criteria of universities. You can also go for MSc in forensic science, nutrition and dietics, food technology, biochemistry, pathology, etc. depending upon your interest.
Hope you are clear!
after qualifying jnu msc life science theory entrance exam is there any interview session?
There is no interview. Admissions to M.Sc Life Sciences program is based on your performance in the Entrance examination conducted by JNU. For being eligible for this course, you should have completed your B.Sc or B.Tech or equivalent course in Biology, Physics or Agricultural sciences or Biotechnology with a minimum aggregate of 55%. The admission is based on Computer based entrance exam. You will be tested on your basic knowledge in the core subjects of life or biological sciences. The exam will contain subject specific questions in different batches of Life/Biological Sciences at Bachelor's degree level. There is no specific syllabus but you can follow UGC approved syllabus.
i have done bsc life science from du can i Pursue msc forensic science from mdu ??
Hello, The eligibility criteria for MSc forensic is that you should have passed your BSc with any of the two subjects- Botany, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology. However other institutes like Indraprastha University, Gujarat forensic science university ask for a bachelor degree with 55 percent aggregate. You can refer this link to know more about the course the colleges offering them https://www.careers360.com/courses/forensic-science-course
Best wishes.
