are degree colleges reopening under lockdown 4.0
As of now there is no any official guidline have been released for unlock 4.0 but according to some news sources school and college may be closed one more month i.e. September,Government is planning to open colleges first in phase wise manner in which they are planning to open iit and iims first but as the cases in india are increasing day by day it is very tough to open school colleges by maintaining proper guidline . Unlock 4.0 guidline may be released in 2 to 3 days then we can surely say whether school and colleges will remain closed or not.
Hope this will help
Thank you

my ews certificate is being prepared but because of lockdown it is being delayed what else i can submit alternate to it rather to complete my jee advanced registration?
Ho Vivek,
On account of Covid19 pendemic everything has gone out of order and delayed.
If you are registering for JEE Advanced then to get the reservation benefits you will have to submit the valid certificate for the same. In case you don't have the certificate due to some unavoidable reasons then you don't need to worry. You can download a declaration available on IIT website and declare that you don't have the EWS certificate right now but you will produce it soon before the specified date. It has to be signed by you and your guardian.
In case if you failed to produce the certificate then your reservation benefit is liable to be cancelled and you will be treated as General category. Here you must note that if you haven't crossed general cutoff in JEE Main then you would not be able to write JEE Advanced.
Hope it helps you. All the best for JEE Advanced.
hello sir/madam i want to take admission in BED. but due to to lockdown my final year exam is not clear. can i fill regestation form.
Hello,
As the ongoing pandemic has devastated everything but it will take some time to get everything back to position. If you are in your final year then wait for some time, the exam will be conducted anyway and if you clear it then well and good. So thinking of the positive side you can fill the form so that you are not left with any problem.
All the best.
Hello, We have chosen Kolkata as exam centre. Since Kolkata is under lockdown whether MCI exams will be held at the same center or it will be shifted elsewhere.?Will the exams be postponed or will be cancelled for those students who have to write their exams in Kolkata?
Hello aspirant,
The exam centre won't be shifted now as the supreme court order has come the dates also won't be postponed any further but adequate measurements will be taken at the exam centers.
And new guidelines will be followed of having less students alloted in a single class room , prior sanitation of the place etc.
hope this helps
if a student preparing for IIT jee but he doesn t study in lockdown so what he can do after reopening of coaching centres for getting rank under2500
Hello Mohan,
I think you know that JEE advanced 2020 will be conducted on september 27 which is just around 45 days from now on.Well, getting a rank under 2,500 in advanced is not that much easy .No problem if you prepared for advanced in your intermediate without considering this lockdown period.you just have to revise the concepts if you have already prepared.
But if it is not the case, like,if you have not started your preparation yet,it is better for you to attend for JEE advanced 2021.Because,you can not take burden on you because you can not just complete the whole preparation within just 45 days.
You are mentioning that, you want to take coaching. We are still unsure that when will coaching centers will reopen. So,you better be prepared for JEE advanced 2021.Once coaching centers reopened, start your preparation seriously by first understanding the concept deeply and practicing a number of problems and doing mock tests and practicing previous years papers.
Here i am mentioning few books as of my experience
Cengage ->It will be useful for all three subjects for solving number of problems.
Hc verma for physics
Op tandon for chemistry. It will be good for concept.
Himanshu Pandey for Organic chemistry
Hope this helps:)
I have lost my grade card of graduation. I dont recall my exact percentage and also In this lockdown period my college will not able to provide my grade card. So what should I put in the box of graduation marks in CAT registration form? Should I put the roughly calculated marks?
Hi CAT Aspirant!
CAT 2020 registration window has opened on August 5, 2020. You should be careful while completing your application form during the registration process as the personal details once entered and submitted cannot be altered.
You need to enter your education details in the 3 rd page of CAT 2020 online application form. The details like percentage of marks obtained in class 10, 12, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and Other Professional Degree are to be entered in all sections correctly . If you fail at providing the accurate information, it might trouble you at a later stage of the admission process.
So your first task must be to gather all the information, documents, certificates regarding your date of birth, exact style of writing name, academics from class 10 onward, caste, online fee payment instrument that you will need for filling the form beforehand.
It is advised to not rush for early registration. You need to register and apply within the registration window. All candidates will be treated at par who apply from August 5 to September 16, 2020 in slot and test centre allotment. How can i appear for my ielts in this lockdown period as i have to submit my results in some international universities immideately .
Dear Mir,
You can appear for the IELTS during Lockdown time as the exams are still going on India and you have to book in advance for the test. The following are the rules you need to follow to appear for IELTS during COVI-19 time:
- You need to sign a health declaration stating that you haven't been in quarantine before the exam or you haven't had contact with the people who have been detected positive
- Your Temperature will be checked at the center before the writing of the test
- You are required to wear a mask and you are required to remove that during the identification process
- You cannot remove the mask during the Speaking and other tests\
All the best
I gave my 3rd year exams before the lockdown but since many other exams didnt took place, the university has not yet released the results as of 5 Aug 20. So am i eligible to apply for ibps po which released on 4 Aug 20?
The official notification does mention that the Candidate should have a Degree in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India. It also mentions that the Candidate must possess valid marks sheet or Degree Certificate by the day he/she registers for the exam. The notification clearly mentions that the final results should hav been declared on or before August 26th, 2020. Because the last date for registration for IBPS 2020 is August 26th, you still have time. If by any chance the results are announced by August 26th, then you can apply for IBPS 2020 or else unfortunately you may be ineligible and might have to wait until next year to appear for the exam.
