To get into LPU, you should attempt the entrance examination conducted by the university. This is the only way to enter into LPU. JEE marks ean nohing to them. You can enter LPU through your board results too but the only advantage of taking the entrance exam is that you woyld be offered scholarship  if you merit the list

Yes you may get a branch of you choice as the lpunest exam mainly focuses on discounts and future scholarship. It is just an eligibility exam which allows students to get admission through it. As it is one of the private colleges , thus it also takes admissions through donation i.e. backdoor entry.
