MH CET Law 2018 will witness participation of as many as 218 colleges affiliated to 11 universities offering a total of 15040 LLB seats for admissions into the law programmes. Moreover, there are another 10060 seats offered by 153 colleges affiliated to the 11 universities in the five-year integrated law programmes.

MH CET Law 2018 Eligibility Criteria – Minimum Qualification for five years integrated the programme
The law aspirants who wish to appear in MH CET Law 2018 will be required to meet the Eligibility Criteria of MH CET Law 2018 as laid down by DHE Maharashtra. MH CET Law Eligibility Criteria 2018 mentions the following:
Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination/ 12th Board Examination from any recognized educational institution.
The law aspirants need to have secured a minimum of 45 percent of the total marks in the aggregate of the subjects, which however is 5 percent less for those belonging to SC/ST categories of Maharashtra state.
Candidates appearing in the 12th board examination will also be considered eligible and can appear in MH CET Law 2018 for the five-year integrated law programmes. However, the admissions will be subjected to the fulfillment of the minimum qualifying marks at the time of counseling.
MH CET Law Eligibility Criteria 2018 – Minimum Qualification for three-year law programme (LLB)
The candidates who wish seek admission in LLB programme need to have a graduation degree issued by any university or college recognized by UGC and following a 10+2+3 education pattern.
Candidates need to secure a minimum of 45 percent in the aggregate of the subjects, and 40 percent for those belonging to SC/ST categories of the Maharashtra state.
MH CET Law Eligibility Criteria 2018 – Age bar
According to Bar Council of India’s revised age bar policy, there is no age bar for the law aspirants appearing in MH CET Law 2018.
MH CET Law 2018 Eligibility Criteria – Other important information
The law aspirants who have obtained 10+2 through Open School/Universities system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible for MH CET Law 2018.
The law aspirants appearing in the final year examination will be considered eligible for the three-year LLB programmes. They can appear in the law entrance examination. However, this should also be noted that their admission will be provisional and shall be offered only if they submit the LL.B certificate with securing more than the specified minimum marks.
