MAKAUT does not conduct a separate entrance exam for Ph.D. in Hospitality and Tourism.
Unlike some programs, MAKAUT Ph.D. admissions (including Hospitality and Tourism) are conducted through a Research Entrance Test (RET) that they hold themselves [Shiksha]. There is no separate application for this test.

see data science is the totally new course, so there is not much reviews of students, however as per trending of market and IT industry, data science professionals has wide career options in coming days. now coming to MAKAUT, university the curriculum has changes and makes it upto the market standard. faculty are well experienced and decent ratio maintained of students and faculty. however the location of the university has changed , so if you are not belongs to the local area of haringhata you may hve to take hostel or pg.
however the overall placement and infrastructure is good in makaut, kolkata.

what is best between NSHM kolkata and MAKAUT in house for bsc data science?
NSHM kolkata is a good college for Bsc. data science, Placement cell of this College is quite active,as many people placed from this college with good package,And there are so many institute which is better than NSHM ,but if you want preferred this,so I tell it's review is quite good,but it's NAAC grade is B++
