Im scoring 198 marks can i get admission for bams from management quota

Anushree Thakare 5th Jul, 2025

Hello student,

While specific cutoffs vary by college and state, a NEET score between 260-350 might be sufficient for securing a management quota seat, especially in states like Maharashtra.

A NEET score of 198, it is unlikely you will get admission to a BAMS program through the management quota in a reputable private or government-aided college.

While some private colleges might offer management seats, but the competition for even these is high, and a score of 198 is generally considered low for BAMS.

I recommend you to consider exploring other courses like BHMS or exploring options in alternative fields of study like pharmacy or biotechnology.

Or  if you are determined to pursue BAMS, focus on improving your NEET score for future attempts.

Thank you!!

What is the fees of management quota with 170 marks in neet and obc category

Anushree Thakare 18th Jun, 2025

Hello,

With a NEET score of 170 and an OBC category, it's unlikely you'll get a government medical college, and admission to a private college through the management quota will likely require a significant fee, potentially in the range of INR 15-20 Lakhs per year . The exact fees vary by college and location.

For example, some private colleges in Maharashtra have fees ranging from INR 18-22 Lakhs per year .

Thank you!!

1) can i get admission in adesh institute ,bathinda in mbbs under management quata , as i belong to rajasthan 2) does the condition of closed state applied on management seats too ???

shivani 20th Jun, 2025

Adesh IMS (Bathinda) is a private college with 150 MBBS seats :

  • 75 Government quota,

  • approx. 53 Management quota,

  • approx. 22 NRI quota

Management quota seats are filled through BFUHS counseling (Bachelor Farid University) and require NEET + merit + fee payment

Rajasthan students can apply for these seats if NEET and counseling criteria are met , since Management quota is open to any domicile . In Punjab, seats not reserved under government-state quota may still be filled by outside state candidates. Management quota seats are not under state quota rules . They are open to all states via BFUHS counseling. Yes , you can compete for Management quota at Adesh IMS, Bathinda. Management quota is open to out-of-state students , no closed-state restriction .

I have got 129 marks in neet can I get a management seat in Kerala if Im a non local

Devanshi Goyal 21st Jun, 2025

HELLO,

With 129 marks in NEET ,it is highly unlikely to secure a management seat in a private medical college in Kerela ,regardless of domicile status .Management quota seats in Kerela , like elsewhere typically require a significant higher NEET score , often above 450-500 and are also influenced by factors like college - specific cutoffs and competition

Here is the reason :-

NEET and Management quota :-NEET is the entrance exam for MBBS admissions in India , including management quota seats in Private colleges

Management Quota seats :-Seats in this are usually reserved for students who are unable to qualify for admissions on merit based  and can pay higher fees .

Kerala Specifics:- Kerela has its own set of rules and cutoffs for NEET admissions  and management quota seats are also subject to these .

Hope that Helps!
