MET manipal entrance test is the toughest one where the acceptance of the students is of 8% where from 100 students only 8 will be selected according to the merit list.so if you are one the merit list candidate you can secure seat there as you scored 19.7% in the MET you can merily may not grab a seat there

Well, there is not particular qualifying cutoff in MET 2019, it just depends on your rank which decides which branch you can get.
This is the first time negative marking has been introduced, so cutoffs may vary a lot.
If you think that you had could've done better, I would suggest you to give another attempt of it.

It would be difficult to predict the Rank & Admission Possibilities as Marking scheme of the exam has been changed, Previous year the Marking scheme was of total marks 200 but this year it is 800, Four marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
I would suggest you to wait till it officially announced.

I think you are asking about Aeronautical Engineering. Core placements are not good, honestly. People opting for this branch generally go for higher studies and that too mostly abroad.
As for the scope in India, from what I hear, it's not that good either (going abroad is a safer choice is what I mean to say).
If you are passionate enough for this branch options will open up.
