You have not mentioned your category which would have been a clear indicator of what your chances might be. Assuming you are general, your chances at a Government medical college are unlikely. However, the marks can get you one of the good private medical colleges. Also if you are not from the unreserved category then you have chances for a government college if you’re from SC or ST category.

There are approximately 20 seats reserved for Ex serviceman wards available in MBBS and BDS programmes which are allotted according to priority of serviceman and performance of candidate in NEET enterance examination.

One percent quota is provided as defence Quota, This includes reservation for the widow and children of Defence personnel of paramilitary personnel of Rajasthan.

You have not mentioned the category you belong to. However, the possibility are 50/50. Depending on your category and state of residence, you may or may not acquire a seat for the MBBS programme with 470 NEET exam points.

However, If you fall into the general category, you might not be able to enrol in a Government medical institution with 470 marks; In this case, you should aim for at least 550 marks.

A general category student must score till the 50th percentile, an SC/ST/OBC candidate must score till 40th percentile, a general PWD candidate must score till 45th percentile, and an SC/ST/OBC PWD candidate must score at 40th percentile, in NEET-UG.

The cut-off marks vary every year depending on various factors such as the number of students attempting the paper, category of the student, and difficulty level of the exam. The cut-off marks are released only after the results are declared.

If you belong to the general/OBC/EWS category, according to 2021 cut off, 650+ are required for government seats and marks as low as 200 can fetch you a private seat. An SC category student must score 630+ for a government seat and 150+ for private seats whereas an ST category student can get a government seat for 540+ marks.

In Uttar Pradesh, 24 Government Medical Colleges offers total 2,878 MBBS seats for the year 2022. Under State Quota 85 percentage of Government College seats are filled which are 1,623 seats from 15 Government Medical Colleges.
