Thank you.
I have already registered for maharashtra neet counselling. Can I also register for AIQ neet counselling (MCC)(at the same time) ?
Hello aspirant.
To increase the chances of a candidate getting a seat in a medical/dental college, candidates can register as well as participate in both state counsellings and All India Counseling. However, if you get allotted a college at any state, be it in Maharashtra or in any other state, your name will automatically be canceled from the other instituition.
All the best!
Hi I am NRI candiate , can I still apply in himachal pradesh colleges as a NRI (now that state counselling is over) from the MCC counselling?
Hi
Since Himachal pradesh counseling got over, you cab still take part in All India counseling and fill your desired college as NRI candidate.
If your marks follows the criteria then you will get the college. Or you can go for management quota seats.
Best of luck

if MCC conducts 4 round counseling, the chance of lower rank candidate to get MBBS seat will increase?
Hello,
The increase in total rounds of All India Quota or AIQ Counseling won't impact much the chances of students getting seat in Government Medical Colleges.
-----MCC will conduct 4 rounds of counselling - AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up round, and AIQ stray vacancy round.
--------Remaining seats after completion of Round 2 will be filled in mop-up and stray vacancy round by MCC in online mode.
------The four rounds will only be conducted for AIQ seats having All India character which are contributed by states for 15% UG seats.
• Fresh candidates will only be allowed in the first three rounds and not in the stray vacancy round.
• Candidates will be given an option for upgradation and free exit only in Round 1
• Candidates who join the allotted seat in Round 1 will not be allowed to resign and will be ineligible for participating in further rounds of counseling.
• Candidates who do not join the allotted seat in Round 2 will be eligible for further rounds of counselling by paying a security deposit and fresh registration in mop-up round only.

if MCC conducts 4 round of counseling, chance of lower rank holders to get MBBS seat? would increase
Hello there,
Hope you are doing well. See, it depends how much low marks are you talking about . However if your score in NEET-2021 is 590+ ,you should definitely participate in AIQ counselling if you belong from a high cutoff state .Apart from that as this new policy will be implemented for the first time from this year itself ,it can't be said as of now exactly how much marks will the cutoff decrease .
As per the new guideline given to MCC by the Supreme court, the All India Counselling for NEET is to occur in 4 rounds . Earlier , there used to be only 2 rounds to fill the 15% seats of the state government medical colleges and all the seats of the central institutes like AIIMS. After the 2 rounds, whatever seats were left in the 15% state government medical colleges were then transferred to the state counselling authorities to filled through the state quota counselling.
This new guideline will mostly benefit the students of the states where cutoffs usually go high like Delhi ,Bihar, Rajasthan etc. , sometimes even higher than the All India cutoff for a government medical college. So, these students will be able to get a seat through the All India Counselling in some other state if the cutoff of their own state is very high .
Also,it will be made sure that almost none of the 15% seats are left to be filled by AIQ.So, there's very less probability that any seats will be transferred to the state after AIQ.
So,it can be concluded that the All India Quota cutoff for a government medical college will be lower ,on the other hand the state quota cutoffs may increase a bit than usual ,as of now.
You are advised to wait for the Counselling process to commence and only then will we be able to know the exact cut-offs and how this new guideline will affect the cutoffs .
You can keep visiting the official website of MCC for further updates,

Hope my answer helped.
