Well you are having very good marks in your board examination in andhra pradesh examination , i.e 96.2%. wELL SEE for admission in vit college basically you need to get a good marks in vit entrance exam, but based on your 12th percentage you will get a seat based on category 2.

For GATE candidates:
Application process begins in April end and continues till first week of May.
End of May, list of shortlisted candidates is put up based on merit.
For self sponsored candidates/NON-GATE M.Tech admissions:
Application process begins in April end and continues till first week of May.
Admission tests are held in the last week of May.
First or second week of June, list of shortlisted candidates is put up based on performance in the test.Candidates are admitted based on the list.
