If you have completed BSc biotechnology then firstly I would recommend you to give JAM examination to get admission into IITs or IISC because you will have ample amount of opportunities there.

Now coming to your question both the courses are equally important but I would suggest you to go for BSc medical Biotechnology because it is a vast field and if you have knowledge and interest you can execl in it.

Ultimately the choice is yours.

If you wish to see yourself as a teacher/lecturer, you may go for that. For top universities you will have to finish a Phd. You may also comduct research whilst teaching.

Otherwise you may work at firms just for reaserch. You also have options in management if you do an MBA.

B.sc medical biotechnology Focuses more on academic and theoretical aspect of the subject whereas B.Voc in Medical Biotechnology focuses more in the technical aspects of the subjects it also provides practical knowledge to the students willing to enter technical field after completion of this program.

Well since biotechnology is one course so you would get to do MSc in biotechnology itself. Microbiology and industrial microbiology are separate courses. And hence I would recommend you to go freely for biotechnology as it is one of the most important field these days.
