Hello,
The Assam government would spend Rs 80 crore to build five new medical schools in the state's five districts.
This was said by Assam Finance Minister Ajanta Neog during her budget statement in the Assembly.
According to Neog, those 5 new medical colleges would be built at Golaghat, Dhemaji, Morigaon, Bongaigaon, and Tamulpur.
In the Karbi Anglong area, the administration has also suggested establishing a State University.
