The minimum aggregate should be 50% in your 10+2. You can train to become a Deck officer after 10+2 but again even that course requires you to have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as your subjects.
should i go for computer engineering or CA or merchant navy?
HELLO Kiran,
I am bit confused that the courses you have mentiond are completey different from each other. As enigneering is realted to some technology knowledge on the contrary CA i.e. charted accountant is something very different as it is mainly related to accounts. On the other hand merchant navy is very much responsible and honored job. So it is complety based on your personal choice which makes you more encited then only you can decide one of them. All the best fo your future.
Hope you like my answer.
THANK YOU.

Do every company gives colleges for DNS ?
Hello Sumedh,
For doing DNS you first need to give IMU-CET which is conducted by Indian Maritime University twice every year for DNS. After that you need to separately apply for the company sponsorship exam after clearing the exam you have to go for Medical and for DNS criteria is you should have eyesight 6/6 without glasses.
See some companies have their own colleges like Anglo Eastern, Great Eastern etc. So they give you their own college but some companies don't have Colleges than you have to go for counselling of different colleges and company will guide and sponsor you for that.
