Admission is through an entrance followed by a screening test and a main written examination.

After clearing the test, there is an interview and a medical test.

The eligibility for joining merchant navy is finishing class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. 

Other eligibility criteria are as follows:

Candidates have to be unmarried Indian citizens.

Normal vision is required but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be allowed.

The eligibility of joining the Merchant Navy you have to be 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. and the candidated must be unmerried Indian citizens. normal vision are required but minimum 2,5 are allow and the admission are through my writen test, screening test, and main writen examination and you have to clear the interview test, medical test, 

And you also need to complete a shipe training course and that couse will be short term course and thought basically concept of vayaging.
