which college should I prefer B.tech in chemical engineering In IIPE,visakhapatnam or B.tech in Metallurgical and materials engineering in NIT Raipur ?
Hello there, hope you're doing well!
I feel that your question is concerned directly to your academic interest, I am answering regarding that below-
My simple answer would be choose well according to your interest in the stream. Both of the colleges are premier institutions. If you're having serious interests in Metallurgical and Material Engineering then go for NIT Raipur else if you're enthusiastic about chemical engineering branch,
Welcome to IIPE!
Being a student of chemical engineering in IIPE, my personal opinion about the course curriculum is "excellent" and the professors are very helpful and available! The seniors are very cooperative.
That's it from my side!
Adieu!

is it necessary for btech metallurgical and materials engineering students to have a laptop
Hello,
First of all it is not Mandatory for all the students to have laptops during their BTech. And the students with branches like CSE and IT, may need to have laptops due to their Specializations and for learning Coding Skills and All during their academic years. Other than that it is not necessary for rest of the branches. Also it may depend upon student to have a laptop for other branches like Core, in their 3rd of 4th year of their BTech.
Hope this information will help you, Good Luck!!!
