Formula of calculating percentile is MHT CET Percentile Score = 100 * (Number of candidates in exam with normalized marks ≤ the candidate) ÷ Total number of candidates in the exam. MHT-CET or Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education.

1. If you score marks between 110 and 140, your percentile is approximately between 96 to 98.
2. If you Score between 130 to 150 marks, then your Percentile is in between 98 to 99.
3. If you Score over 150, your percentile would be 99+.

MHT CET exam date...............
The application form for MHT CET exam will start soon. The admit cards will be released in the last week of April,2021. The exam is expecting to be conducted in the first week of May, 2021. Although the final dates have not been released yet, these will be tentative timeline of events.

If you are pretty much satisfied with your college x, then just go for the freeze option and lock your seat entirely.
But as you mentioned, that you are also interested in other colleges in for the rounds you can either go for float or slide option. The float option will provide you a chance for other colleges in different streams, where is the float option will provide you chances in different strains of the same college x.

KJ Somaiya is a autonomous college while VESIT is affiliated by the Mumbai University. both are great institutions. But if you are inclined towards sports and other activities, go with KJ Somaiya. If your marks are good, put KJ Somaiya above VESIT.Also note that fees for KJ Somaiya is much higher than that for VESIT.

If we consider previous year cut off then closing rank for food technology was around 87535.And as you have scored such good percentile then you have chance to get gov. college but as you know cut off changes every year that 's why it would be tough to predict you anything exactly .
