Well being from Uttar Pradesh is quite disadvantageous for students who want to get an admission in MNNIT Allahabad because the home state quota cut-off is always higher than other state quota cut-off for this particular institute. 

At your given rank, I don't think that you can even get the lowest branch at MNNIT Allahabad which is Bio-Technology.

See Dhananjay you have got a decent rank in NIMCET 2019 general category rank 1390 and in OBC category rank 492. Since you have filled only nit Allahabad and nit Calicut. Considering previous year closing rank of different nit's then I can say that it is possible that you will get a seat in the college either nit Allahabad or nit Calicut.

With general rank 47k and 10 ews reservation your chances are there that you can get biotechnology at mnnit allahabad as last year the last seat was allotted at 40k approx for general category students so this year the expected cutoff will be more or less the same but with 10 reservation in your favour your chances are there that you can grab it.

Hi, according to your rank you can get a seat in biotechnology and production and industrial technology in MNNIT Allahabad. The last rank admitted in ee and ece branch was around 3000 and for civil branch it was around 5000 for chemical branch it was around 6000 all ranks are for home state and other state quotas for obc-ncl category.

Hi, according to the rank in jee mains crl you can't get a seat in Mnnit allahabad but according to your category rank that is obc-ncl rank you can get a seat in biotechnology and production and industrial engineering branch as their last ranks was around 9000 last year.

Based on your rank you will not get either of these branch  till round 7,however you may get biotech or even production at special round,so dont loose hope.

Well, comparing from the previous year analysis, it feels you can get admission at NIT allahabad and in NIT Calicut owing ot your category.

Though if the situation arises to prefer which college then I would say to use rul of thumb ie

if south indian - NIT Calicut

if North Indian - NIT Allahabad

Though both are excellent colleges.

    With the rank you specified, you can easily get admission in NIT allahabad. You can get all other branches except CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) and IT. In IIIT delhi you have more chances to get branch as per your wish as you are from delhi. Here also you may not get CSE but you can expect other branches like Computer Science and applied Mathematics. You can easily get other branches. For CSE after round 6 closing rank in 2018 was 6350, which is close to what you got.

Looking at your sername, I'm considering you are from a genernal category.

Inspite of your EWS quota you wouldn't stoon any chance of getting NIT Allahabad.

So other best options I would suggest is

1. NIT Durgapur 

2. NIT Hamirpur

3. NIT Raipur (though chances are very low)

4. NIT Rourkela (though chances are very low)

The NIT's I've recommended are from the best of college's advice and I've also personally analyzed there growth.

IMP Note - Fill your choinces in JoSAA platform with utmost care. Yes this the most crucial stage and many fall into the prey of filling the choices carefully.
