i got 1259 rank in tspgecet can i get seat in mpharm in osmania university or G Pullareddy college of pharmacy in 2nd counselling.bc-d categ
Hello Aspirant.
Congratulations on securing this rank.
Since the closing ranks for colleges are not available anywhere so I cannot really give you any suggestions regarding the colleges that you can get with this rank. I choose not to guess in this matter as it is a sensitive issue and beating about the bush isn't an option.
Coming to your rank, with my knowledge, it will be tough to get MPharm in Osmania University as it is one of the most sought after universities and there will be many more candidates with better ranks waiting for the seats. You can try for GPR since you have a decent rank. Belonging to a reserved category can be helpful.
I would suggest you to participate in the counselling properly and wait.

Hope that helped.
All the best!
Is there any scope for M.pharm? In the dpt of pharmaceutics?!
The scope is good!If you are good at what you are doing….then you have a great life in pharma.
India offers seven mpharma degrees..
If your priority is to settle in an industry, then
Pharmaceutics,QC,QA are preferred.
In case you would like to pursue a career as professor in a university, then
Pharmacology, chemistry, analysis are preferably chosen
Pharmacy practice can be done if one wants to be in a hospital or work as a professor.
QA can also be done if one wants to become a professor.
Personally I'd recommend setting in an industry…because the growth is fast for an individual both financially and experience wise.
Hope this helps…All the best!

What is placement scenario of mpharm MBA from nmims? Is it worth spending so much money?
According to their placement report for 2017-18 , the students were recruited by some of the best companies in the heathcare industry like : AstraZeneca, Cipla, EY, GlaxoSmithKline, MSD, Neilsen, Zydus, Zimmer Biomet and many other Indian and MNCs participated in the placement season and offered coveted profiles in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Project Management, Operations, Consulting & Business Analytics.
The placements vary year by year , sometimes the year is great and sometimes not , that is for every colleges not just for NMIMS , so i would say yes it is worth spending so much money , as the placements they give you are from the best companies and according to their report the average salary was around RS 7 LAKHS PER ANNUM which is good for a starting package , it may also increase on a yearly basis . The highest package was RS 14 LAKHS PER ANNUM , so i believe that it is worth spending money.
