the eligibility criteria for indian board students is applicants must Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Biology, Chemistry, English and Physics / Biotechnology / Mathematics / any other Life Sciences subject as optional subject,  from a recognized Board with minimum 55 % aggregate marks or equivalent, taken together in Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Biotechnology / Mathematics / any other Life Sciences subject. there will be no entrance exam , candidates will be shortlisted for admission based on marks in Biology, Chemistry + optional subjects marks.

I dont have much knowledge on Maharashtra Board but, as per my sources, the practical and theory marks are already written in different columns in the marksheet.
