Hey there, as you have told that you have completed B.sc from u.p and want to go for masters at M.U. YES you can do so all you need to have is minimum aggregate of 50% in class 12 for general and 40% for reserved catagory and b.sc degree from any recognised university.

Admission process is both enterance and merit based.

M.U release new admission forms in last week of June every year.

Yes You can but a migration certificate is needed for switching from one university to another university. Mumbai university has an online portal which can get you a migration certificate issued in 15 days or if you want it in an urgent basis they have provision for that too.. Make sure you have acquired transfer certificate from your college as its a mandatory document.

Documents needed are

Transfer certificate, PRN NO., Enrolment letter (If no PRN Number is generated), Latest marksheet, passport size photograph. All the documents are to be uploaded in png, jpg or pdf only. The file size should be 5MB.All documents have to be uploaded in original. In case of Photocopy/ Xerox copies being uploaded, Attestation is mandatory. Documents like Bonafide Letter, Leaving Certificate & Transfer Certificate should be issued within the last 6 months.

Hi, yes a new application is required after 12th. There are certain eligibility criteria that you need to check. You should have at least 45% in your graduation. You also need MHT-CET examination held by the Maharashtra government itself. Once you have done this, go to Digital University Portal. Click on Pre-Admission Online Registration. Register new and create your account. Upload required documents. Pay the application fees. and submit. Keep the soft copy with you for further references. Application fees for general category it is 800 rupees and for categories it is 400 rupees. Hope this helps.

Hi, While you are filling your form for reservation seats. Please make sure that you check what category you really belong to. Maybe your sub caste belongs to SC category or vice-versa. Even after thorough checking you still do not have a option choose others if there is any. If not that you can leave the whole question if it is not compulsory to answer. Hi, the admission procedure happens on yearly basis there is only chance to apply to the colleges you desired. As of now, you can check if the colleges you want are open for offline admissions if they are then you can apply offline. If that is not available you will have to wait for another round next year. Hi, DTE form is for diploma students and post SSC. Mumbai university form is to be filled by students who want to peruse Engineering after 12th. that is degree certificate. But after diploma you can take admission in direct second year engineering. Hope this helps. All the best!

Hi, as the admissions are opened on yearly basis. If you don't get admissions in any of the merit list. You will have to wait one more year. You can either apply using same score card or you can appear for the test again. Since, you didn't get admission with this marks it is very easy to say that getting admission next year with the same marks would be difficult. So, it is always safe and better to re-appear.
