As per the recent advancements, there is speculation of the colleges being started in offline manner from January. As such Maharashtra Higher Education Minister, Mr. Uday Samant said that a decision whether the colleges will operate in offline mode (i.e start the colleges like earlier) will be mostly given on 20th January. Kindly keep updated with the advancement & announcements made by the state officials regarding the opening of colleges.

Yes you can take a drop. But don't cancel your admission. If you don't give your 3rd and 4th semester then you are not passing but you can be promoted in 3rd year. But you have to clear your 3rd semester and 4th semester paper in 5th and 6th semester. And your college will be objection for this type of behavior you have to manage it. May they will call your parents for this. So whatever your decision is it, just think again and do accordingly.

Kindly wait till 20th January for a decision if the college will be started in online or offline mode. As such a decision for reopening of colleges will be announced on 20th January by the state education ministry. Kindly wait till then to get a response if the second semester of MU affiliated colleges will be in online or offline mode.

Second semester scheduled from January to May: Mumbai university . With examination to most undergraduate courses coming to an end, the University of Mumbai (MU) has clarified that the second- term for the 2020-21 academic year will commence from January 1 until May 31, 2021

The session will be held ONLINE.

As per the discussion going on in the University, they are planning to conduct the classes in online mode & if feasible they will try to conduct the practicals & other details of the course phase wise so that students can understand the course in better way. The second semester of Mumbai University going to be held possibly in online mode. The situations is going alarming  again.The Authority of University of Mumbai will not take any risk to do the second semester of the university on offline mode. There is a possibility of second semester going to be held in online.

The Health and Family Welfare department of Central government has yet published no notification about that.

It is hoped that notification on behalf of Central Government family and welfare department will be published soon by instruction of doing online studies of second semester   of the University of Mumbai.
