do assistant professors have to take up extra curricular activities compulsorily in UGC-aided degree colleges affiliated to Mumbai University n if yes which
Hello,
Yes you do have to take up extra curricular activities at least for 2 hours for guiding the candidates. There is no such list of colleges available but on their official side it is said that any college under the UGC in your affiliated to Mumbai University has to obey it and this would be included as well.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.

So I think it might be impose sone problem to you at the time of admission. But keep an eye on the respective college to see if the dates of form filling starts again.

I am studying in SYBSc from Mumbai university can i transfer to Gujarat university in TYBSc. because of my father transfer?
Hello Aspirant,
The admission norms and policies of each university or college differs from Other university or college depending upon its degree courses and eligibility criteria for admission into its different courses. Also, the admission and curriculum criteria for BSc courses differ from university to university.
So, if you are thinking of getting admission into Gujarat University after leaving Mumbai University, you have to first see the eligibility criteria for the gujarat university of Bsc and it's policies for more information about the same. You can maybe visit and contact them via their phone number or email provided by them on their official website.
Some colleges don't take admission directly into 3rd year from 2nd year and usually take an admission granted test to see if you are eligible to get admission into their university's Bsc 3rd year.
So, for all these sort of queries , you need to contact them through their details provided by them on their website. You can also write them a letter saying that you need an urgent basis admission because of the transfer of your father.
Hope that helps. Good luck

Kindly elaborate or make your question more clear so that it will be easier for the experts to answer you. But from what I have understood , if you are asking whether having done FYBBI course in correspondence or distance learning , you can do SYBBI in regular mode then yes , a candidate who has passed F.Y.B.B.I. (BANKING & INSURANCE) (or equivalent) from any recognized University can seek admission to S.Y.B.B.I. (BANKING & INSURANCE) subject to fulfillment of eligibility rules. Please visit the official website of the college you wish to apply for , in order to know about other eligibility criteria and admission procedure.

are Mumbai colleges no longer be affiliated to Mumbai University and become a self autonomous heis in the long run according to the new education policy
Hello Aspirant,
Few days earlier UGC issued a statement which states that no university can grant affiliation to more than 300 colleges if they do so a penalty will be imposed on them and other strict actions would be taken. So not only in Mumbai but even in the whole country New Education Policy 2020 has been implemented so the Maharashtra college will face the same changes which are to be faced by other Institutes at their respective location. I am enlisting down some keyword of NEP 2020 for higher educational institutions :-
- From now there will be only governing body for all the higher educational institutions by the Higher Education Commission of India
- Fees of all colleges irrespective of their ownership, will be disclosed and make transparent.
- Now in three to four year Undergraduate programs candidate will have multiple exit points means if he is not satisfied with the program he joined then he can leave that but he will get a certificate of that and certificate status like diploma, certificate, degree qualifications will depend on the period when you leave the course.
- A proposal has been raised for "Fee fixation", let us see what happens to it.
I have mentioned some Important key points of NEP 2020, if you want all these in details then refer to the link given below :-
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
