Ans congratulations on your score as per your question of you want to change your nlu than you have to fill it for upgradation that how it works you cannot just change like that and as per your rank you might get an upgradation to one of the above ranked nlus but chances of getting nalsar is quite tough.

The official cut-off has not been declared yet by the NLUs but if we consider the previous years' cut-off trends of NALSAR University of Law Hyderabad, we can make a prediction of what the cut-off rank might be.
According to 2018 cut-off, the lowest rank was 137 in NALSAR. Now the cut-off varies every year based in factors like-
- Number of students appearing in CLAT
- Previous years' cut-off
- Performance of students in CLAT
- number of seats available
- Difficulty level of exam
This year, for NALSAR, the cut-off has been predicted to close at 120 rank but your rank is very close to it so I wouldn't tell you to lose hope as you might have chances to get in. But if not NALSAR, you can definitely get some many other NLUs with this rank.

My rank 228 CLAT 2019 and got NLU jodhpur. Do I have a chance to get upgraded to NLU Kolkata or NALSAR Hyderabad.
Congratulations on getting through. You see this year the cutoff is extremely on the higher side and seats are full in the first lists itself for even low ranking NLUs.
It is unlikely that there would much changes in seats as whoever has got the top NLUs would clinge to it without question. Only under some very tragic circumstances would someone renounce their seats.
Wait for the next lists and lets see what happens. Even if you dont get upgraded you have secured a place in a very good college and be assured that when you pass out you will have a great package and personality.

No, you will not get a call from NALSAR. However you may get a call from one of the following NLUs;
1. NLU Assam
2. DSNLU, Vizag
3. TNLU
4. NLU Kochi
5. NUSRL Ranchi.
Keep an eye on the vacant seats notifications which are published once the counselling rounds are over.

As per the previous year cutoff trends, the cutoff rank for AI Horizontal SAP candidates was 1429 in round 1 in 2017 at NLSIU Bangalore.
At NALSAR, the ranks for AISAP candidates ranged from 1429 to 3069 over the rounds in 2017.
It seems that you have very slim to no chance of getting admission in these top two NLUs. You can maybe consider the other good NLUs ranked below it as they are reputed as well.

Let me tell you this year Paper for CLAT-UG are Easier than Last year and hence Cutoff also Increases so it's really tough to get good colleges like NALSAR with this marks your chances are seems lower for NALSAR because there are lot of candidate whose score is more than you and also in the race.And coming to domicile quota yeah it will give you some boost but may be you can convert but i am not sure about it.for NALSAR you should have score around 140 + for being on Safe side.don't worry wait for counselling see what happens.

NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad is one of the best Law Schools in India and getting admission is a tough deal.
The admission is conducted solely on the basis of CLAT results and according to previous year statistics, you must secure rank under 120-130 to secure a seat.
