what is meant by nanotechnology engineering
Hello student ,
Nanotechnology engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with all aspects of the design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures on the nanoscale. In nanotechnology engineers learn about new things changes which helps in health, science, technology, and the environment on a molecular level . Beside this there are lots of field in which they used to do work like creating efficient chips, cards, and even smaller computer parts and many others .
Hope it will help you !
I am pursuing M.Tech in Nanotechnology and my b.tech branch is Electronics and Communication engineering. If I want to write gate2021,then which branch should I consider as my gate subject?
Hello taruni!!
You can do either of these two courses since you have done two different courses in different fields you can choose the course which you like the most of your gate exams. Try to choose electronics and communication since it is most preferred courses for gate and has good scope.
For more details regarding gate refer to the following link!!!

Thanks a lot!!!
what are the job opportunities after completing btech nanotechnology and what may be the average salary in india
Hi
As according to the question you have asked as per data It has a big scope in the upcoming generations.
It is the third maximum booming subject when compared with IT and Internet. In India, Bangalore and
Chennai are the producing hub for IT and Medicine. The Indian authorities has already started out
Nanoscience and Nanotechnology projects and various funding corporations like the Department of
Science and Technology.
One can locate activity as nanotechnologists; professionals or scientists. The areas in which a
nanotechnologist can are searching for employment consist of biotechnology, agriculture, food,
genetics, space studies, medicine and so on. Job opportunities are also to be had in National Physical
Laboratory, Indian Institute of Astrophysics etc. Candidates with Ph.D also can be part of as college
contributors in Universities and schools or studies fields.
Nanotechnology Jobs

• Mechanical Engineer.
• Optical Assembly Technician.
Salary Package
Sky is the restriction for a qualified nanotechnologist. In this discipline, even the starting monthly salary
stages from of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000.
Hope helpful.
which is the best college nanotechnology?
As per your query I am providing you a list of some best colleges of nanotechnology in India, according to the national ranking list:
- Institute of chemical technology, Mumbai.
- Jadavpur University.
- Vellore institute of technology, Vellore.
- National institute of technology, surathkal.
- Indian institute of technology ,Patna.
- NIMS University, Jaipur.
- Jamia millia islamia university, new Delhi.
- National institute of technology, Calicut.
i have got AIR of 2307 in Xl lifescience and im a btech food technology graduate.May i knw where all i can apply and whether there is a posiblity of getting admission in nanotechnology or biotechnology .
You have done your graduation then you can go for specialization where you can take a domain from biotechnology as your interest. For that you have to appear GATE exam and score above 600 are accepted in top IITs. Try to perform your best in GATE so that you get a recognized institute for specialization. This will increase your value and open an easy for job opportunities. More of it knowledge and skills set is highly preferred during job selection. You can appear GATE 2021 and take admission in the same year for MTech.
Hope it helps!
How can I become a Nanotechnology Engineer in India? What are the steps?
hey,
if you want to take admission in nanotechnology at the under graduate level then you need to clear the intermediate examination in science stream subjects included are physics, chemistry , biology/mathematics , however no institution in india offers bachelor courses in nanotechnology , candidate holding B.tech degree in material science, mechanical , biomedical, chemical , biotechnology, electronics and computer science or B.S.c in physics, chemistry , mathematics and life sciences can also apply for the postgraduate cousres in nantechnology
as you want to be a nanotechnology engineer and you are finding diificult to go outside from country then i would suggest you to pursue B.tech in any of the branch mentioned above and then go for M.tech in nanotechnology.
here i am listing some colleges offering M.tech in same
1. SRM university, tamil nadu
2. jawaharalal nehru technological university, hyderabad
3. punjab university, chandigarh
4. amity institute of nanotechnology (ANIT), noida uttar pradesh
5. amrita centres for nanosciences , kerala
good luck!
