My NMAT score is 203 in first attempt . can i expect a call from NMIMS Banaglore,Mumbai or Hyderabad???
Dear Student ,
NMAT score depends upon the sectional subject scores as well as the total marks .
Now, as per last year NMAT cut off for NMIMS Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore .. You may get NMIMS Bangalore and Hyderabad .. The cut off for these colleges are :
- NMIMS Bangalore and Hyderabad - 200[overall cut off]
- NMIMS Mumbai[Pharmaceutical Management]-169
But , you have to remember that every year the cut off may vary each year due to some factors like seat matrix, difficulty level of exam etc.
You can check the last year NMAT cut off for different NMIMS from here :

Hope this helps !
i have a score of 229 in my Nmat 2021, will i get a call from nmims bombay or bangalore ????
Hi,
According to previous year cutoffs, you have high chances for getting calls from NMIMS Bombay or Bangalore for almost all branches. Currently there are following branches in :
NMIMS Mumbai:
- Pharmaceutical Management
- MBA
- MBA Banking
- MBA Capital Marketing
NMIMS Bangalore
- MBA
Your score satisfies the cutoff score of all the branches in every NMIMS. Hence you have highest chances for getting a call.
Hope it helps.
i secured 228 in my nmat how will i know if i am shortlisted for nmims or not.. will they email me or is there a site where can i check the shortlisted candidates name for interview round
Dear candidate most often whenever you get a seat in NMIMS Institute they will send you a mail into the mail id which you provided in the application form. After receiving the mail, in the mail you will get the details to do the further procedures to enable successful admission. Not only that if you can try to remain in contact with your departmental Head.
Good luck!!
Is it necessary to register to NMIMS for each attempt of NMAT?
Hi,
NMAT is one of the most competitive exams for getting admission into top B-schools and to answer your question, no it is not necessary to register to NMIMS for each attempt of NMAT. You just need to register only once and the best score will be taken into consideration out of all your attempts.
I hope this helps,
All the best.
Will I get NMIMS with the NMAT score 137?
Hello,
With the score of 137 in NMAT, you will not get admission into NMIMS. To get admission in NMIMS generally the score should be 220+. Also if you want NMIMS Mumbai then you should Target even higher.
My suggestion for you will be that prepare again and give mocks to know your weaker points. After that analyse your mistakes and work on them and reattempt the paper with more practice and confidence.
Best of luck.
Hope it helps.

I accidently filled MBA Decision science and analytics (mumbai) as first and MBA mumbai as second preference in NMIMS form if i get a call and convert it can i still go to MBA (mumbai) or only MBA DSA(Mumbai) will be alloted to me.
Hi there,
In counselling , the pattern of allocation of seats varies according to the cutoff ranks in that particular colleges. See, you can be alloted any college if your rank fits in the cutoff range.
Taking about your question, see you can still be allocated your second preference if your rank fits in that range for second preference. Generally, the first priority will be allocated if your rank fits otherwise you will be allocated the second preference.
If there is a chance of changing the order in any round then you can change otherwise be happy with what you are allocated to.
Hope this helps you.
Thank you and good luck:)
