can you advise that is NMIMS university is best for distance learning MBA or not?
Hello Aspirant! NMIMS is among the top institutions in India offers regular MBA courses although it is not much popular for distance learning program compared to IGNOU, Symbiosis, IMT, ICFAI & SMU. But we would like to say the quality of education is very good.
Just remember that distance learning programs are not very well-accepted by the industry. People consider them as mere certification programs, as such distance learning programs lack the critical elements like engrossed group projects, rigor of the full-time contact programs and peer learning.
So I would suggest that if you can afford please go ahead and do a full time 2 year PGDM program.
Hope this helps.

Hello , what was the cutoff for year 2020 for the nmims mumbai (pharma MBA)
Hi,
I hope you are doing well!
NPAT offers admissions to multiple courses and thus eligibility criteria vary for each course.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Candidates must have passed 12th class or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma Science or science vocational with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
- Candidates must have studied English as a compulsory subject.
- An aggregate minimum score of 50% in PCM/PCB is required to be eligible in NPAT 2019.
- Candidates awaiting their class 12th result this year are also eligible to apply.
- The candidates who have their result in GPA/CGPA should get the equivalent percentage for the same from the concerned board/university in written.
It is mandatory for the candidates to pass the qualifying examination in one attempt. A single mark sheet displaying marks of all compulsory subjects is mandatory. A compartmentalized mark sheet won’t be considered.
Exam Duration was of 1 hour 40 minutes (20 minutes lesser than previous years) in 2018. You need to be super fast in this exam, as you get only 100 minutes to answer 120 questions. This exam has no negative marking for any wrong or unattempted response.
There is no such cut-off for NPAT. However, a score of 95–105 should easily get you the MBA+B. Pharma Course. Considering you attempted all the questions with an accuracy of 85%.
Even a score of 75+ will get you a rank well within 1500 which is pretty good. One thing more, your marks won't be displayed on the official website, you will be allotted a merit rank based on your marks.
I hope this helps!
