How can I prepare for CD for NMIMS, Mumbai?
Hello,
So after you clear the cut off you will get a call after that you should definitely start preparing for CD/PI.
Case Discussion-
A group of around 10–13 people will sit together and discuss about one case and its questions. One thing you need to focus upon is-
Be relevant while speaking
Treat others with dignity and respect
Stop jumping to conclusions
Don’t divert from the topic
Be confident
Stop cutting other person’s point
Sound interested

What are the different aspects considered by NMIMS before the final admission of any candidate?
Hello,
For your reference, I am posting the different weightages for different aspects considered by NMIMS before the final admission of any candidate:
- NMAT Score - 70%
- Case Discussion - 10%
- Personal Interview - 10%
- Work Experience - 5%
- Academic Scores - 5%
As you can see, the NMAT score makes up for a staggering 70% of the final admission score. If you are worried about your low academic scores, you should try and make up for it by scoring well in NMAT and giving reasonably good CD-PI rounds.
All The Best.
i have got 182 in nmat in 2020. Can i get into nmims banglore??
Hello student
The cutoff is expected to fall under 160-200for the new academic session. For nmims bangalore the expected cutoff will be above 200 as per the previous year trends so the chances are low.You may get nmims mumbai. The previous year cutoff for nmims mumbai was around 170.To know more about the cutoff -

i have score 149 in nmat 2020 , can i get admission for pharmaceuticals management in nmims mumbai campus for the year 2021
MBA Pharmaceutical Management - Mumbai Campus campus has 120 seat intake. And 30% of the seats will be offered to girls. To be eligible for MBA in Pharmaceuticals Management at NMIMS, you should have completed your Bachelor's or Masters degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medical Technology and Biotechnology, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates with B.Tech. Bio-Tech./Bio-Medical or B.E. Bio-Tech./BioMedical with a minimum aggregate of 50% can also apply. Admission to NMIMS is a 3 phase procedure:
NMAT
Case Discussion
Personal Interview
Case discussion and Personal interview might tbe held on online for shortlisted Candidates only.We do not have 2019 cut offs per se. But in 2017, the cut offs for MBA Pharma were as follows:
QS: 50
LS: 50
LR: 50
Overall score: 169
Now this is an old data and cut offs change every year. You haven't mentioned whether 149 is your scaled score or its your Final percentile score. The scores that are reported are scaled scores and the final percentile score is the percentage of Candidates who have scored less than you in a certain section. It might be tad difficult for a seat in Pharmaceutical management with a score of 149. But we would still suggest you to watch out foe any update regarding the shortlisting list for Case Discussion and Personal Interview at www.nmims.edu website.By the virtue of 30% reservation for girls, you might stand a borderline chance. Hello,
First of all the expected cutoff for NMAT is 160-200 marks with Logical Reasoning 65-70 and Quantitative skills with expected cutoff 70-75 and language skills of 62-65and the expected cutoff for nmims in pharmaceutical management is expected to be 200 ( https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/nmat-cutoff ).
But previous year cutoff for nmims for pharmaceutical management was 50 in Logical Reasoning 50 and Quantitative skills with expected cutoff 50 and language skills of 50 and overall cutoff of 169/200.
The cutoffs are difficult to predict as they depend on various factors but you may get a call in the later counselling rounds so I recomment you to stay updated with the notices on the official website and all the counselling dates will be updated there.
Hope this helps
If I have domicile of Gujarat, am I eligible for Gujarati quota for admission at narsee monjee or mithibai
Hi Candidate,
The state qouta or the domicile certificate is needed for the candidates who are eligible and interested for applying for the seats which come under their State Colleges Qouta.
If you have a proper and authenticated domicile of Gujarat and you wish to apply through the Gujrat qouta of seats, then you are completely eligible for Admission. You can get the State Qouta of seats for Admission.
Hope that this answer helps you. All The Best!!

does nmims take vocational subject in grouping board marks?
Hey
Yes, NMIMS do consider science vocational courses for calculating the eligibility criteria for courses such as B.Tech and MBA (Tech).
When talking about getting admission in the mentioned courses in the Mumbai campus, science or science vocational courses, an aggregate minimum score of 50% in PCM in class 12 or equivalent, is required for getting admission.
