Right now I am in 12th class, can I do BSc along with preparing for NEET?
Hi,
Yes, you can definitely pursue Bachelor of Science along with preparing for NEET. It will totally depend on you how dedicated and handworker you are , many students pursue Bsc along with NEET but after few days maximum students give up. If you are very determined and think that you will manage than you can take admission in B.Sc and can manage both at the same time.

can I drop in the first year of bsc for neet preparation
Hi,
Yes, you can definitely drop in the first year of Bachelor of Science for the NEET preparation. Taking a drop by pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree while preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) can be challenging but is certainly possible.
Here are some of the tips that can help you to manage both Bsc and NEET together.
Create a study plan and make timetable. Know the exam pattern and syllabus for both courses. Develop a realistic study plan that includes specific goals, timelines, and study hours for both your B.Sc. coursework and NEET preparation.
Hope this information will help you

Hello
Since you are a domicile of Karnataka and have studied under the Karnataka State Board for 11th and 12th , you are eligible for Karnataka State Quota for admission to various colleges in the state.
1. KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test): You must appear for the KCET exam, which is required for admission to undergraduate professional courses like engineering, medical, and other streams. Your exam score and rank will determine your eligibility for counseling.
2. Minority Income under 5 Lakh : If you are from a minority community and your family's income is below 5 lakh, you may be eligible for fee concessions or other benefits depending on the specific institution. Some colleges offer reservations or other advantages for students in this category.
3. Counseling and Seat Allocation:
After the KCET exam, you will need to participate in online counseling.
You need to select your preferred colleges and courses.
Seat allocation will be based on your rank , the availability of seats in your chosen colleges and your preferences.
4. Required Documents :
Domicile Certificate (proof that you are a resident of Karnataka).
Income Certificate (for minority category benefits).
Marksheets (11th and 12th from the Karnataka State Board).
KCET Admit Card and Scorecard.
This process will allow you to secure a seat based on your KCET performance and your category .

Hii I am sakshi and my category is ST I have score 380 marks in neet 2024 can I get admission in this clg
Hello Sakshi,
With a score of 380 marks in NEET 2024 and being from the ST category, your chances of securing a seat in a government medical college will depend on various factors such as the
cut-off for your category
in the state and the
college you are applying to
.
In general, for ST candidates, the cut-off ranks are usually lower than for other categories, so you have a possibility of securing a seat, especially in government colleges .
To increase your chances, you should:
-
Check the previous years' cut-offs
for ST category in your preferred states and colleges.
-
Consider applying through
state quota
as well as
All India Quota (AIQ)
if applicable.
- Look into private colleges as well, as they might have different cut-offs for ST category students.
You can also try applying for BHMS, BAMS , or other allied health courses if you are open to exploring options beyond MBBS.
Good luck with your admissions!
