What should be my GATE marks out of 100 for getting admission in NITIE MUMBAI?
Getting into NITIE is a two step process.
First you have to clear the cut off which is based on the GATE score not on marks. The cut off varies from year to year from about 650 to 700 as per the no. of applications.
Secondly you have to get through a GD & PI round.
PI is generally based on the profile of the applicant and the way he/she drives the interview.
I would also like to mention that some weightage is given to the profile of the applicant which is not disclosed to anyone.
I hope it helps
Good luck...
Should I join NITIE MUMBAI PGDIE OR IIT?
Hello sir..
The event that you need yourself to be in administrative post, at that point its preferred to join NITIE over IIT.Also package and placement record of NITIE is more than a large portion of the IIT...
On the off chance that you need to be in technical industry and work as a Technical engineer at that point better to join IIT..
All The Best for Your Future..
Hope these will be helpful..
Thank You.

NITIE or old IITs with structural engineering? Which one is better?
It would completely depend upon your personal choice. If you have a good technical knowledge of Civil Engineering and also want managerial skills, then NITIE would be a right choice for you. Hence, NITIE is more of a management college and boasts of 100% placement with good packages. IITs are better for research work and an M.Tech from an IIT would fetch you lower packages than b.Tech students (except CS/ EC/ EE). Both the colleges have great faculties and amazing infrastructure. If you want an IIT tag , you can go for an M.Tech in Structural Engineering from an old IIT, else go for NITIE for a PG Diploma in Industrial Engineering.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

Dear Yash,
Hope you are doing well. I will try to answer your query in detail. First I will list down some eligibiltiy criteria to get admission in NITIE and Cutoff marks for this year 2019. For your information NITIE accepts the score of CAT (Common Admission Test) conducted by IIMs. In 2019 CAT will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode.
NITIE is a great institute for industrial management course.NITIE Mumbai was established in the year 1963. It has been acclaimed as
one of the 15 Centres of Excellence along with the seven Indian

(IIMs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) by the Ministry of HRD,
Government of India. It has also been recognised as one of the top five
Indian schools for supply chain and IT management. All the programmes
offered here, are approved by AICTE.
One of the forerunner institutes of industrial management programmes, NITIE Mumbai offers Postgraduate residential programmes, namely PGDIE, PGDIM, PGDISEM, PGDMM and PGDPM. Out of the five mentioned programmes, CAT score is accepted for the PGDISEM (Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management) and PGDIM (Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management) programmes.
Following are the eligibility criteria for this two courses.
