Based on your probable gate score and the previous years cutoff trends your chances of getting a call from nitie, Mumbai is decent. The expected minimum cutoff score this year might be around 717. However the final selection will be done on the basis of GD and personal interview.

The National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) located in Mumbai offers admission to its PG Diploma programs in Management, Manufacturing Management and Industrial Engineering on the basis of valid gate score pertaining to 2017/2018/2019.

Fee:

Approximately 31,500/- per year

Dear Suresh, you haven't mentioned the course about which you are enquiring. For PGDIM/PGDIE/PGDISEM/PGDMM/PGDPM, candidates should have atleast an aggregate of 60% marks in their Engineering/Technology degree. Candidates in their final year are also eligible. For PGDIE/PGDMM/PGDPM, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their GATE scores. For PGDIM/PGDISEM, students are short listed on the basis of CAT score.

In order to apply for P.G. courses in NITIE, you need a valid GATE score. 

The validity of your GATE score is for 3 years and within that period of time, you can apply for NITIE.

So yes you can apply with a previous year GATE score.
