No, there is no need of print out of your choices filled for JOSAA or CSAB Counselling, at reporting center. instead you have to take other document for verification such as seat allotment letter, marksheets of class 10th and 12th, caste certificate(if applicable), score card of JEE-Main and some others

I believe CSE at SLIET Sangrur will be a better choice than Lower branches at newer North East NITs  where placements are almost a permanent issue. It is a suggestion but go for the branch of your choice rather than the reputation or tag of a college. Graduating from NIT with a relatively unpopular branch only works in a student's favor when he/she has decided a career path beforehand that does not require an engineering degree (MBA, Civil Services, etc.) but if you wish to enter the world of employment or go for higher studies then it's best to study and put 4 years worth of efforts into a field you really are interested in because that is what will bear the best results in the long run.

As for your counselling choice, you can choose to float and wait for the next list, chances are you will get some other branch in some NIT or you will get a better college altogether.

As you have mentioned that you are opting for production engineering the college has good placement records with an average package of 5.5lakhs.The college has got well organised placement cell which conducts training programs for students. Yes you heard it right that the classes of IIIT Agatala are taking place in NIT Agaratala until the construction of the campus is over. IIIT Agartala is a recently established and the first batch started in 2018, that is why you can not find much resources on the internet stating placement statistics of this college.

Well the placements  of CSE dept. in IIIT Agartala is maximum as compared to other departments. Many get internships from IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Mandi, IIT BHU etc and some got internship opportunities from Coal India, Sail, NTPC etc in their second year(of 2018 batch). Almost 60% of the students got placed in internships successfully in the year 2018 and it has considerably increased the next year.(The first placement will be done for the batch of 2018-2022). The highest salary package offered was of 20 LPA, and the average salary package offered was of 4 LPA(of NIT Agaratala, the same companies will most probably conduct placements in IIIT Agartala for 2018 batch).
