can I get Nit Agartala Cse branch with 91.4 percentile(general category)?

Anurag Khanna 23rd Aug, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 87978 - 98900 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-

Closing CRL rank for NIT Agartala was :-

  • CSE branch - 63805 (Home state quota)
  • CSE branch - 18351 (Other state quota)

So you have quite low chances to get NIT Agartala with CSE branch even if you have Home state quota THROUGH JOSAA COUNSELLING.

But yes if you improve your percentile in any further session of JEE-Main like around 93+ then you might have a shot at NIT Agartala with CSE branch.

You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

I got 77 percentile in JEE MAINS 2021 (3rd attempt). Im SC Category, Home state is TRIPURA. So what would be my rank? and will I get any good branch like CSE or ECE in NIT AGARTALA?

Tanmay V 12th Aug, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

With 77 percentile  in JEE Mains CRL Rank would be in the range : 235290 - 264500 (Approx.)

JEE Mains Rank/Percentile Predictor:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Now with this CRL Rank,

SC Rank might be around 15000(Approx.)

considering this rank range , SC Category Home State quota and previous year record of closing rank you might get ECE in NIT Agartala (As closing rank of NIT Agartala ECE for SC -Home State last year was 16242 )

**(This might change due to changing trends of JEE Mains every year)

You may check all previous year cutoff(closing ranks) of NITs, IIITs, GFTIs on official JOSAA website:

I got 86 percentile can i get Cs in NIt agartala ?

Akash Singh 14th Jul, 2021

Dear student,

What is your category?

It depends on your category too but as you have not mentioned your category in the question paper then i will consider you as general.

Now if try to find your rank on 86 percentile then it will somewhere between 143220 - 161000.

Please note that this is expected rank range so you can expect some variation from the actual rank as it depends on various factors like number of students appearing in exams etc.

You can check your rank yourself by going through our rank predictor tool. I am pasting the link below.

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Now the cutoff for NIT Agartala CSE last year(2020) was 18351 for a other state general student. And in previous it has been below 20000 rank for the seat of Computer Science and Engineering in NIT Agartala.

You can check the cutoff of NIT Agartala by going through the link below.

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-agartala

So analyzing all the these unfortunately you will not be getting CSE in NIT Agartala.

But you can check which colleges you can get on your rank range by going through our college predictor tool. Below I am attaching the link for it.

I hope this answer helps you.

All the very best!!

Dear Aspirant, with this percentile CRL rank would be around 3lac( 306900 - 345000 ). According to previous year cutoffs closing ranks there aren't much chances for NIT Agartala (BS MS Dual Degree in Maths) with this rank.
