Sir give the preference order- iiit Gwalior cse ,nit Silchar cse,IIIT Lucknow cse (new),IIIT Lucknow it,IIIT Guwahati cse,nit Hamirpur cse,
Hi Aspirant
A lot of students face this kind of dilemma during JOSAA counseling. Since it looks you are more inclined towards CSE and IT departments you should go for a college that has a better coding culture. Among these colleges IIIT Gwalior has the best coding culture.
You can also have a look at the NIRF Rankings and decide the college:
If that is the NIT Silchar will be your best option.
Hope this helps and All the Best.
Hello sir I am sushil.I got 71 percentile in jee main and 21923 ranking in sc category. Can I get mechanical engineering in nit hamirpur hp.
Hey!Sushil
Your rank seems not enough for NIT HAMIRPUR.For mechanical stream you need rank under 5k in SC category with other state quota. And 13k rank with other state quota.Chance of getting with this rank seems less.
Visit below mention link to know previous year cuttoff of NIT HAMIRPUR:

GOOD LUCK!
How is dual degree course(5 year B.tech+M.tech) in nit hamirpur with cse. Placement?
Hello student,
If you wish to do Mtech then it is really a good option. It will save your one year and will be able to graduate from a NIT which is again good. NITs have good reputation and there is definitely scope in whatever you do in college provided you work very hard for it.NIT will open a lot of doors of opportunities for you. It is up to you if you can take advantage of it and work towards it. To summarise , if you are determined and sure that you work off hard those 5 years, then it is definitely a good career choice and there is certainly scope in it. So believe in yourself and go for it.
Cheers!
Which one should i give preference Nit hamirpur(ECE) or IIIT Kota(CSE) or IIIT Lucknow (CSE)?? Please tell the order as well!!
IIIT Lucknow is the best among them. IIIT Lucknow which was established in 2015 has shown an exponential growth.
In my view CSE in IIIT Lucknow is good,
However, we have the tool here to compare colleges do check the below link

How nit hamirpur cse dual degree . Is it good or not. I do or not?
Hi aspirant
Almost all of the NITs offer good number of placements in reputed companies.Faculty are also best from the country. There might be slight ups and down in the college infrastrucutre, environment, placement cell etc.At the end it depends on students also how they are and what they expect from college. At the end placements matters a lot.
Factors on which placement of a students depends:
1.Your overall aggregate should not be less than 60 % (in companies more than 60% is required).
2.Your total number of year gaps(must not exceed 2).
3.Your active backlogs(must not exceed 1).
NITs are inviting abundant number of companies but if the students are not prepared enough than college also cannot do anything.
NIT hamirpur has good placements records for CSE .You can definitely join it if you are getting it.Dual degree are for those who are interested for masters also.If you want to pursue M.tech after B.Tech then its good that you enroll in dual degree. If you have a plan for doing job after B.tech then don't join it.
Check placements records here: http://nith.ac.in/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/record-of-placements-2017.pdf
All the best.
Should i join nit hamirpur having material science
hey rishabh
yes NIT hamirpur is a good option for sure . its ranking as well as its infrastructure is quite good . the placement is quite good and good thing is its getting better .however its fees for material science is quite high and can cost you about 2 lacs per year without including hostel fee . there is also shortage of transprtation facilities . so research a bit more about this college before taking the final decision
best wishes
I have home state quota for Nit Hamirpur. Would I have to show any proof at time of admission?
Dear Nikhil,
Yes. During the time of registration for your seat in NIT Hamirpur, you have to produce all the documents like your 12th marksheet, Mains application number, 12th passing certificate, category certificate if you have applied under any reserved category, domicile certificate(home state proof), etc.
All of these documents are needed to be produced at the time of the counseling procedure. If you have taken the gap year, then the gap certificate is also a must produced document.
You can check their website about the admission related queries.
Hope this helps.
Thank You.
