do girls opt for mechanical engineering in nit jamshedpur??what is the ratio?

ARYAN SAGAR 16th Sep, 2020
Dear student,
In mechanical engineering you have to do a lot of hard work. Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest and reputed branch of engineering field.
You have to perform engineering duties in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment. You have to oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems.
You have to continuously work in constant heat and pressure and also have to work with tools.
And normally in India most of the girls do not opt for mechanical engineering.
And in almost the colleges of india, in mechanical engineering branch the girl to boy ratio is 1: 40, 1:50 or 1:70.
And at many places it is zero means no girl in mechanical engineering branch.

In Nit Jamshedpur's mechanical engineering branch, the girl to boy ratio is only one girl out of 60 to 70 boys. The ratio is better in CSE , EC and Electrical but that's far from normal.
But if you want mechanical engineering and you have interest for it, then go for it without thinking about the ratio of girl to boy.

As per college predictor, based on my JEE Main ranking, I will be getting CSE in NIT Patna and ECE in NIT Jamshedpur & BIT MESRA.. so what will be the better option to go for. CSE at NIT Patna or ECE at NIT Jamshedpur/ BIT MESRA pl suggest

ARYAN SAGAR 12th Sep, 2020
Dear student,
If you are confused that which college your should go for among these three then blindly go with nit patna on my advice as nit Patna is one of the top nits in india with an excellent placement record of cse branch . Average package is nearly around INR 22 lakhs per annum and based on your quality you can get more. On the other hand nit Jamshedpur is also good but it's good for metallurgy and production branch as these branches has better placement record than any other branch of nit Jamshedpur. But mit mesra is a private institution, it may be termed as gfti but mainly it comes under private category. Nits are far more better than bit mesra. And nit patna cse branch is very good as compared to nit Jamshedpur's ece. And always remember that any government college is much better than any private college. So, don't get confused go with nit patna.
