NIT jamshedpur is better than NIT hamirpur. you may cheack the opening and closing rank of these institute for fruther varification. i have seen opening and closing rank of nitjsr and nit durgapur for first round on josaa website . there is far difference between their or and cr. NITjsr- openig 3318,closing approx 14000. for NIT dgp openig about 7000 you should check on josaa website.

You can't get NIT Jamshedpur with the help of JCECE exam because NIT take admission on the basis of JEE-mains merit list.JCECE only for govt. colleges in Jharkhand, not NITs/IIITs.
