Hi Ansh
I think without even a single doubt, your choice should be NIT Mizoram.
It is always beneficial to choose a government college over a private college. Please don't be confuse about that choice.
If you're looking at the college just in terms of studies and placements, then you should definitely go for NIT Mizoram.
Hope the answer helps!

Hi there!
Well it is difficult to predict anything about admission on the basis of score only, as admission to any institutes depends on various factors like:
1- Difficult level of entrance examination
2- No. of students appeared in exam
3- No. of students seeking to admission
4- Closing rank which is decided by authority
5- Category of an Individual
Hence, due to lack of these data, it is impossible to tell you about admission in those institutes.
However we can get a rough idea of admission eligibility by analyzing previous years trend.
First and foremost, with 86.6 percentile in JEE Mains your general rank would be anywhere in between 137082 - 154100 as per our JEE Mains rank predictor, and your EWS category would be somewhere in between 17000 to 18000.
As per last years trend, the maximum closing rank in various NITs for EWS category is around 8000 to 9000.
You can also check previous years closing rank of various NITs, click here https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches
Considering this data, you have low chances for getting in to the NITs you mentioned, however it may or may not be true as these data keeps changing year to year.
