I get nit mizoram in ece branch. I will take it or not

Poral Siddartha (siddu) 23rd Jan, 2025

Opting for the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch at NIT Mizoram could be a solid choice, especially considering the institute’s growing reputation and promising placement records.

NIT Mizoram offers a strong academic foundation with dedicated faculty and research opportunities in the ECE field. The placement rate for ECE students is around 80%, with an average salary of about 8 LPA, and many reputable companies like Byjus, Deloitte, and Mahindra & Mahindra recruit from there.

However, there are a few things you might want to consider before making your decision:

Location: Aizawl offers a unique cultural experience, but it may not have the same metropolitan feel as other cities.

Infrastructure: While the institute is relatively new, it’s important to look into the campus facilities to ensure they meet your expectations.

Student Life: The student community is still growing, so the campus vibe might be different from larger NITs.

If you’re open to exploring a new environment and appreciate the academic opportunities it offers, NIT Mizoram could be a great fit. It’s always a good idea to visit the campus and talk to current students to get a better feel for it before you make your decision.

Hi there!

Well it is difficult to predict anything about admission on the basis of score only, as admission to any institutes depends on various factors like:

1- Difficult level of entrance examination

2- No. of students appeared in exam

3- No. of students seeking to admission

4- Closing rank which is decided by authority

5- Category of an Individual

Hence, due to lack of these data, it is impossible to tell you about admission in those institutes.

However we can get a rough idea of admission eligibility by analyzing previous years trend.

First and foremost, with 86.6 percentile in JEE Mains your general rank would be anywhere in between 137082 - 154100 as per our JEE Mains rank predictor, and your EWS category would be somewhere in between 17000 to 18000.

As per last years trend, the maximum closing rank in various NITs for EWS category is around 8000 to 9000.

You can also check previous years closing rank of various NITs, click here https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches

Considering this data, you have low chances for getting in to the NITs you mentioned, however it may or may not be true as these data keeps changing year to year.

is it better to take admission in NIT Mizoram, Nagaland etc cs branch or in NIT Nagpur , jaipur etc mining ,civil, chemical.my crl is 24000gen category Maharashtra

First of all why are you going to lower nits like that of the north east you should try your luck in mnnit mnit or nits of the south but coming to your question definitely nit jaipur nagpur are far better than nits of northeast you should not go there just for cse branch because in top nits even with non cs branches you can get decent packages if you do hardwork and there the coding culture is also very good and above all you can always apply for off campus placements but yes you should not miss top nits like mnnit that have top placements like mnnit has best average package among all nits so just for cs branch you should not compromise with a top institute you can predict your college using this link https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
