• B.Tech Computer Engineering in College of Engineering, Pune has lower fees

The infrastructure and facilities of COEP are far better than NIT Raipur. However, COEP is a state Government college, while NIT Raipur is an NIT, thus having better exposure.

Faculty are good at both the colleges, yet NIT Raipur is a great place to study.

For placements, I would suggest COEP as it is the top college of Maharashtra and has better placement records.

I would say that COEP is better than NIT Raipur in most aspects.

No need to get worried if the status of your admission in NIT Raipur shows pending. It's because the officials are taking time to get your documents and other necessary credentials to be verified. Since the admission number is too high, so maybe that's why it's taking a lot of time to get it done and that's why the status is showing as "pending". Don't worry, so the authorities will notify you through mail. Till the time, be patient.

I believe you should lock whatever you get at NIT Raipur , as there are not many universities, GFTIs and NITs going for an additional round post CSAB Round 2. The Classes and Induction processes are scheduled to begin by December 1st. Secondly, NIT Raipur itself is a good technical institute with good infrastructure, faculty and placements.

Placements for Chemical branch are good here. Around 70% of the students got placed last year. The highest salary package offered was around 9 LPA whereas the lowest salary package offered was around 5.5 LPA. Companies like Reliance Industries, Vedanta, Ambuja Cement, and several other software companies visited the college in the past few years for placements.
