You have scored very well so there is probability of getting seat there. But still your categories and quotas plays a major role. So I suggest you to check all the cutoffs. During option entry in JOSAA be cautious and select appropriate colleges.

If you are going through the Tag of NIT than it's is not worthy for you to take admission in NIT Sikkim as the placement records of NIt Sikkim is not so great. Only 60+ -(5)% students get placement. And the avg. package of CSE is 6 lakhs per annum. Which is not so great.
If you are the residents of East side then you can think for it but if you are from South,or West side students then don't take admission in that side as the state government college in northern side have CSE avg. Package of 6-7 lakhs which is almost near to it and also the college fee is very low then NIT.

NIT Sikkim is one among the all NITs. So It is also a autonomous institute of Government of India. It was established in 2010.
No NIT Sikkim is not worst. It is best if compared with any other private college or many government college funded by state government.
Like any other NITs , it also offers undergraduate course, post graduate course and doctoral courses in multiple specialization.
The campus is also very beautiful, you will enjoy your college life. Yes you may find language difficulties if you are from hindi speaking state.
It has a separate placement cell where many reputed companies visits every year. Remember, NITs are far better than any other colleges generally.

For getting a seat in NIT Sikkim you must gill the form of Josaa counselling which is completely an online process and based on priority order of branches and colleges. This process can be completed through the official website of Josaa. The last date for filling the form is 25 June which is same date as of choice locking too and later all registrations will be closed and first list is to be launched on 27 June.

Nit sikkim is not good for CSE branch as it is located on the extreme east and there are not many companies visiting for placements. I would recommend you to look fir other colleges as they may be better option to you.

In most of the nits college starts from 27 of july for the new comers in their respective institutes but for seniors the start dates are varied for different national institute of technology.
27 is not a exact date as nits varies with their convocation dates .

Well, the perspective differs from person to person.. According to my point of view NIT Sikkim would be a better choice for CSE branch..
The faculties are good and focus on providing quality education to the students.. Most of the Faculties are highly educated.
The placements are good for CSE branch.. Also, famous companies like Microsoft, Intel, Infosys, Wipro, etc visit this college.
Overall, NIT SIKKIM would be a good choice among any other.

If you are not looking just for nit tag then go for SVU Tirupati. Because if you compare both the colleges you will find that SVU Tirupati has much lower fees than nit Sikkim. Also nit Sikkim is an Eastern college and so cutoffs are low due to which it does not have that reputation than other nits. But it's up to you what you choose.
