But you give JEE main exam so you are eligible for Jossa counselling . Through the Jossa counselling you get admission in other colleges .Do your JOSSA counselling and firstly fill those colleges in which you think to take an admission .Jossa counselling is started from 6 Oct 2020 .

Last year ECE at NIT Silchar closed at 5898 obc rank for other state student.It generally closes at around 6000 OBC rank only. So considering that your chances are good,but you will have to patiently wait for later rounds,where you have good chance.
