There are different exams held at different level to get admission in NIT Trichy. First you need to choose the course that you want to pursue, and then you need to do extremely well to get into this college.
- For B.Tech, you need to give JEE MAINS,
- For M.Tech you need to give GATE,
- For MBA you need to give CAT,
- For M.Sc you need to give JAM,

Comparing the previous years cut off's this year for general the minimum score needed to get into nit calicut will be estimated to be 118-122 and for obc the minimum score estimated is 82-85.For scheduled caste (SC) it will be in the range of 60-65.And for scheduled tribe (ST) it will be around 50-53.
