Yes, For that you will have to follow the same procedure of admission again and also take the TC from College.
Then sit in counselling again and Based on your rank you can get good branch too.

Both production engineering at Nit Trichy And ECE at Nit Agartala, are god options. but at the end you just need to chose one. According to me Brand of a college is more important if you are not more specific in a particular field.But if you have a interest in a particular field then you need to give it priority.But according to you question i feel that you nor not specific to a particular branch. So i would suggest you to take production engineering at NIT Trichy.

Shall one choose his favourite Stream ( E&CE ) over his favourite college ( NIT Trichy ) ? My CRL in JEE Main 2020 is 8891. Difficult to get E&CE in Top 3 NIT but can get other Streams in those 3 NITs.

If you are preferring Computer science branch IIIT hyderabad is better than NIT trichy.IIIT hyderabad is international institute and you can get a lot of exposure if you study there.NIT Trichy is also a good college.Take a wise decision.All the best

But as per my suggestion NIT Trichy is considered as one of the best NITs in India
Beside IITs it is ranked 9th as per NIRF Rankings
So it's a very big thing
I understand you want to pursue CSE and you've already got seat at VIT, but VIT has its cost implications
But highest package offered by VIT was
41.6LPA and average package is in range of 7 LPA
whereas for NIT Trichy highest package was 70 LPA
and average package is same around 7 LPA
Fee structure
in VIT it's about 14 Lakhs whereas in NIT Trichy it's about 7lakhs

Being from SC category, their are considerable chances of getting admission in NIT trichy.
However, the institute is one of the top 10 NIRF ranked institutions and hence require a highcutoff rank to get a seat of your vhoice in your desired branch.
Due to your category, you may expect a seat but to have a power full backup, please do fill other NITs and gfti colleges as well. Most importantly, ypur home state NIT. There arehigh chances of getting admission there .

My daughter has scored 189 (Sep20 - 3rd Shift). Female / OBC / Home State (Chennai) As per Careers360 opinion, had informed she would be in the percentile of 99.45 - 99.67. If so, NIT Trichy had mentioned 99.76 - 99.9 would be cut-off (CS or EEC), would it possble to get seat in 2 or 3rd round ?

You have not mentioned if the candidate come under NCL or CL. If it is CL then she is considered as general category candidate. As said with 189 marks her overall percentile is expected to be in between 99.49 - 99.69 and her overall rank will be in between 2750 - 4400 and category rank will be in between 402 - 1452. In 2019 the cut off for admission in NIT, Trichy under home state category was as follows
ECE
- Open 9158
- OBC-NCL: 3010
CSE
- Open:5325
- OBC-NCL:2165
Considering this she has decent chances of getting seat irrespective of her category (OBC-NCL or OBC-CL). This was the cut off in round 7.
