Yes , according to the rules and regulation of NLU Sonipat, all the students will have to stay in the hostel residence but this condition is only for the freshers that means if you are in the first year then you will have to follow this rule and then you are free to live anywhere after the completion of your year.

But it is recommended to study with all your heart and with proper strategy for whatever time duration you're studying. The popular courses offered by NLUs include BA LLB , BBA LLB , BSc LLB , BCom LLB and LLM . It should be noted that no NLU offers 3-year LLB programme. You can go for any course as per your career choices and area of interest. For admission, you have to appear in the entrance test known as CLAT and clear the cutoff.

Fees for LLM course is :

1,51,500 which includes

Tuition fees -----70,000

Admission fees -----5,000

Student welfare fund --- 5,000

Examination fee and Internet fee---- 10,000

Electricity charges-----15,000 and hostel fee, library fee are remained.

Hope you are doing well! Firstly do focus on your 12 class properly.It will be more helpful to you and if you want to pursue criminal law at NLU you can get scholarship if you will have good marks in academics and also they conduct a test for scholarship,so by qualify that you can get scholarship and also you can stay alone by taking a room nearby but in hostel you have to stay with two or three others.

CLAT UG is conducted for 150 marks and CLAT PG is conducted to 120 marks. The cut off is different for each category. As you haven't mentioned the category we assume that you belong to general category. Last year the cut off was as follows for admission in to NLU, Bangalore

• BA LLB: 98 (AIR)
• LLM: 70 (AIR)

Cut off changes every year depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
