do nlus provide specilization in any course with BA LL.B programme like other private colleges?
Hi Preethi,
From my research, Nlu's doesn't have other specialization course with B.A LLB.
For B.A LLB you have to score minimum 50% marks in 10+2 and should appera nin AILET exam.
B.A LLB course is for 5 years and AILET exam contains 150 questions with 150 marks.Questions from logical reasoning, General Knowledge,Basic mathematics and English are asked.
Hope this will help you.
Thank you

Hello aspirant
You are eligible for this course(llm) unltil you full fill the following criteria:
- Those who are applying for this programme must have an LL.B. or an Equivalent Law Degree with 55% marks. For the candidates of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities category, the applicants must have scored 50% marks.
- The candidates appearing in final year LL.B. Examination in April/May 2019 can also apply.
- If you want to apply for phd you must have llm degree

do clat nlu merits will be based on my board marks or only clat marks
Hey Ayushman!
In order for you to appear for the Common Law Admission Test, you would have to clear the eligibility criteria of the exam. One of the points in the eligibility criteria states that a candidate should have passed in 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board and general category students should have secured 45% in the qualifying exam while for SC and ST candidates, 40% in qualifying exam is necessary.
As long as you clear this and also the other eligibility criteria, it isn't any problem. Clat NLU results or merits are decided only on the basis of your CLAT Scores and your board marks would not have a say in it. However, it is advised to not take boards lightly as poor academic records would surely affect you in the longer run.
For more information about CLAT2020 and the eligibility criteria, refer this link https://law.careers360.com/exams/clat
Hope this helps.
