Can I get any nlu my score will be around 65 from SC category and up domicile
For admission in any NLU you have to score well in CLAT examination with your mentioned marks and you belonging to SC category may get you a seat in RMLNLU Lucknow through UP domicile quota but chances are low as last year trends shows that the closing rank for state scheduled caste was around 4720.

I have scored 74.5 in CLAT and 23398 rank.. should i apply for its counselling.. is there any chance to get any nlu in third list?
Hello Mehak,
Considering you are from the General category, there doesn't seem to be any chance of you getting an NLU even in the third list as the lower-rung NLUs like HPNLU Shimla or DNLU Jabalpur as their second merit list cutoffs were 1396 and 1447 respectively.
Last year, the cutoff ranks for MNLU Nagpur and MNLU Aurangabad went to 4000 as their last rank. So it doesn't seem that you're eligible for admission in any NLU if you are from the General category.
However, don't lose hope as there are hundreds of good law institutes all over the country and you need to keep a lookout for those to keep your options open.
All the Best!

Any query you may ask further
Should I go for llm from a low rung nlu or from institutes like azim premji or teri since my clat rank isnt very good?
Hello, Aarzoo
For LLM, it is not preferred to join Low-rank NLU. Please do NOT join the lower ranked NLUs anything after GNLU or HNLU. It’s better to join a good law college in Delhi, Mumbai or even Bangalore and Pune rather than study in the lower ranked NLUs.
In cities like Delhi or Mumbai, you will have good opportunities a conference, workshop, happening nearly every weekend. Attending these would help you improve your knowledge and skills, develop your overall personality, and build your contacts.
All the best!
What is your opinion about NLU Sonepat, as it is commensing 2019 first batch BA.LL.B.
Just like NLU Sonepat, many new National Law Universities are opening, the number of vacanies are also quite more. The lower tier and New NLUs are not as preferred as much as the other NLUs. Somehow they lack in the area of placements, faculty, other opportunities etc. Many students prefer to opt for other colleges than these lower Tier NLUs as they offer better opportunities and facilities overall.
If you compare traditional colleges or other private colleges like Symbiosis, Jindal, Christ, Nirma, Narsee Monjee etc these colleges are way better than lower tier NLUs including NLU Sonepat. They will have better placements, better faculty, better internship opportunities. You will also have guidance from your seniors.
Now it all depends on which options you have. If you have to choose between well established and ranked private colleges it is better to opt for those instead of NLU Sonepat. But if you're choosing between the not so well ranked private colleges then NLU Sonepat might be a better option
Best of luck
I have scored 137 marks and AI 1767. May I get changes for admission in any NLU in third provisional list.
The cut off for admission in any of the National Law Universities through CLAT in the previous year was a rank in the range of 1600 for the general category. Considering that your rank is 1767, you do not seem to have any chances for any of the National LawUniversities if you belong to the general category. Usually there are vacancies in the lower NLUs as people leave their seats for other colleges. You do have have a fair chance then. But vacancies are very uncertain and you might/ might not have a chance. Also, if you have other optiona various non NLU law colleges and even private colleges are better than the lower tier NLUs. So you can prefer joining those instead of waiting for vacancies. As far as the last allotment lists are concerned your chances aren't much.
Other than colleges with their own entrances, There are various Private Colleges that accept CLAT scores other than the National Law Universities.
Jindal Global Law School, Sonepat
Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, Mumbai
NIRMA UNIVERSITY, Ahmedabad
You might even have a chance in IP University Delhi if you had applied there
Best of luck

As per my knowledge there is no national law university in sonipat and also with a rank of 6045your chances are pretty tough of getting into any if the nlus though you can apply to colleges that accept clat score like upes, ipu, alliance university these private colleges.
