It Is implemented by the Department of School Education and literacy .NMMS encourages disadvantaged students to continue their studies at the secondary level by offering a scholarship amount of INR 12,000 per annum.

Hope you are doing well!

In order to be eligible for NMMS scholarship, you need to score at least 40 percent marks in each of MAT and SAT exam. There is a relaxation of marks for reserved categories. Their cutoff marks should be 32 percent.

You need to score at least 55 percent marks in Class 8 final exam. For SC or ST students, relaxation of marks is 5 percent.

NMMS scholarship is actually National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship.
