To be eligible for NDA candidates should be between the age of 16.5 and 19.5 years to be eligible for the NDA exam. So candidates who are not born after July 2, 2004, and before July 1, 2007, are eligible to appear for NDA Exam 2023. As you were born on 17th March 2004 you will be eligible for NDA 2023. There is no age relaxation provided to reserved category applicants for the NDA & NA examinations as per the rules set by the Union Public Service Commission.

You would be eligible for India Army through NDA if you have not studied Mathematics in class 12th because for Navy and Air force Mathematics subject is mandatory so you are eligible for NDA.

No, you are not qualified for the test. First complete your 10+2 and afterward apply for the test. As far as possible endorsed to be qualified for NDA is 16.5 to 19.5 years. To be qualified for the Army wing of National Defense Academy is Class 12 pass.

The Union Public Service Commission conducts NDA twice in a year i.e NDA1 & NDA 2.
NDA Exam Paper Pattern:
Medium of Exam: English/ Hindi (English section in only English)
No. of Papers: 2 (Mathematics and GAT)
Time allotted for each paper: 2 hours 30 minutes
No. of questions & marks for mathematics: 120 questions for 300 marks
No. of questions & marks for GAT: 1 50 questions for 600 marks
Types of questions: Multiple Choice Questions

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam is following:
Candidates should be between 16.5 years to 19.5 years.
Candidates should have passed their 12th standard from any recognized board with maths and physics.
According to information given by you, you will be 19 years old in 2023 so you are eligible for NDA exam in 2023 but you must have also passed 12th standard.

You must know the eligibility criteria of the NDA exam before applying to it. The eligibility criteria for NDA 1 is:
- Your age must be between July 2, 2003, to July 1, 2006.
- For army wing: Passed 12th standard with any stream from State Education Board or a University
For airforce wing: You must have passed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics from State Education Board or a University
- A candidate must be a citizen of India or A subject of Nepal or Bhutan or A Tibetan refugee who moved to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling here permanently.
Hence you will only able to apply for army wing if you are from commerce stream.

For NDA exam, it is compulsory for students to have passed standard 12th with subjects of maths and physics. So, you being a commerce student may have had maths but not physics so hencewhy you won't be eligible for the exam.
